The first stage of consultation on the proposals for Tapestry Croydon is now closed. We will be carefully considering the local communities feedback on the proposals over the coming months.
The Tapestry Site is a key puzzle piece of the Fair Field Masterplan opportunity, located at the bookend of Croydon’s emerging Fair Field landscape regeneration, a soon to be cultural heart activated by the recently refurbished Fairfield Halls and Croydon College. Our proposals learns from the cultural, architectural and open space context to bring forward an ambitious and family friendly development that all of Croydon will want to stay and play within.
We are keen to hear the community’s views on our proposals for the future of the site before submitting a planning application to Croydon Council later this year.
If you have any questions about the proposals, please do not hesitate to get in touch via the ‘Contact Us’ section.
To the north, George Street bustles with offices, shops, and trams heading towards West Croydon train station and the charming Old Town.
Towards the east, you will find railway sidings and two road bridges, as well as the stunning Park Hill Recreation Ground, with its 15 acres of public parkland managed by the London Borough of Croydon.
Looking south, you’ll see large office developments, flats, and terraced housing.
To the west lies the famous Park Line, featuring a range of architectural gems including the Segas building, the Nestle Towe,r and the Queens Gardens.
Our community reflects the distinct mid-20th century architecture that makes Croydon so unique, and we are excited to contribute to the future of this thriving neighbourhood.
